Maple Cream Dream Icing

1.In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with an electric mixer on medium speed until creamy and smooth, about 2-3 minutes.

2.Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until combined. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.

3.Pour in the pure maple syrup and vanilla extract, and continue mixing on medium speed until the icing is fluffy and well combined, about 3-4 minutes.

4.If the icing is too thick, add 1 tablespoon of milk at a time until you reach your desired consistency, mixing well after each addition.

5.Once the icing is ready, use it immediately to frost your sugar cookies, or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use.
