Escanear para abrir con Mr. Cook
Wash, drain, and hull 1 quart of strawberries.
Simmer 3 minutes with 1 cup of sugar and 2/3 cup of water.
Blend and add to boiling mixture 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and 1/3 cup of water.
Boil mixture, stirring constantly, then cool.
Spread in bottom of baked pie shell 1-3 oz package of cream cheese softened.
Put remaining 2 1/2 cups of berries in pie shell.
Pour cooled mixture and spread over top of berries.
Refrigerate until firm.
Serve with whipped cream.
