1.In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with an electric mixer on medium speed until creamy and smooth, about 2 minutes.

3.Add the maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt to the mixture. Beat on medium speed until the frosting is fluffy and well combined, about 3-5 minutes.

4.If the frosting is too thick, add a little more maple syrup or a splash of milk to reach your desired consistency. If it's too thin, add more powdered sugar until thickened.

5.Once the frosting is ready, use it immediately to top your sugar cookies or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
