Fish Onion Potato Bake

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

2.Place a layer of sliced onions in the bottom of a baking dish.

3.Top the onions with a layer of sliced potatoes.

4.Season the fish fillets with salt and pepper, then place them on top of the potatoes.

5.Spread mayonnaise evenly over the fish fillets.

6.Add another layer of sliced potatoes over the mayonnaise.

7.Repeat the layers of onions, potatoes, fish, and mayonnaise until all the ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of potatoes on top.

8.Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.

9.Remove the foil and sprinkle grated cheese over the top.

10.Return the dish to the oven and bake uncovered for another 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.

11.Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
