Sesame Butter and Honey Chex Mix

Preparation Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Chex Mix In a large mixing bowl, combine the rice Chex cereal, corn Chex cereal, wheat Chex cereal, pretzels, mixed nuts, and sesame seeds. Mix well to evenly distribute the ingredients.

Sesame Butter and Honey Glaze In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add the honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, and salt. Stir until well combined and smooth.

Coating the Chex Mix Pour the sesame butter and honey glaze over the Chex mix in the large mixing bowl. Use a spatula or wooden spoon to gently toss and coat the cereal mixture with the glaze.

Baking Spread the coated Chex mix onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer.

Baking Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until the Chex mix is golden brown and crispy.

Cooling Remove from the oven and let the Chex mix cool completely on the baking sheet.

Optional Add-Ins Once cooled, transfer the Chex mix to an airtight container. If desired, add dried cranberries and dark chocolate chips as optional add-ins. Toss gently to combine.

Storage and Serving Serve and enjoy! The Sesame Butter and Honey Chex Mix can be stored in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
