Cherry, Fennel and Almond Chex Mix

1Preparation Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2Mixing the Ingredients In a large mixing bowl, combine the Chex cereal (3 cups), pretzels (1 cup), almonds (1 cup), dried cherries (½ cup), and fennel seeds (¼ cup).

3Making the Seasoning In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter (2 tablespoons), honey (1 tablespoon), salt (½ teaspoon), garlic powder (¼ teaspoon), onion powder (¼ teaspoon), paprika (¼ teaspoon), and cayenne pepper (⅛ teaspoon).

4Coating the Ingredients Pour the seasoning mixture over the dry ingredients in the large mixing bowl and toss until everything is evenly coated.

5Baking Spread the mixture in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

6Baking Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes, or until the Chex mix is crisp and golden.

7Cooling Remove from the oven and let cool completely. The Chex mix will continue to crisp up as it cools.

8Storage Once cooled, transfer the Cherry, Fennel and Almond Chex Mix to an airtight container for storage.
