German Chocolate Muddy Buddies

1.In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semisweet chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.

2.Stir in the vanilla extract.

3.In a large mixing bowl, gently fold together the rice cereal squares and the melted chocolate mixture until all the cereal pieces are coated.

4.Place the powdered sugar in a large zip-top bag. Add the coated cereal to the bag, seal it, and shake until all the cereal is fully coated in the powdered sugar.

5.Spread the coated cereal in an even layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Allow it to cool and set for about 30 minutes.

6.In a small bowl, combine the sweetened shredded coconut, chopped pecans, and semisweet chocolate chips.
