Baklava Puppy Chow

1Prepare the Chow Coating In a large bowl, combine powdered sugar (1 cup) and ground cinnamon (½ teaspoon). Set aside.

2Make the Puppy Chow Mixture In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the honey (1 cup), granulated sugar (1 cup), and vanilla extract (1 teaspoon). Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is smooth.

3Coat the Cereal Remove the saucepan from heat and gently fold in the rice squares cereal (6 cups), mixed nuts (1 cup), and shredded coconut (½ cup). Toss until the cereal is evenly coated with the mixture.

4Coat with Chow Coating Transfer the coated cereal mixture to the bowl with the Chow Coating. Toss gently until the cereal is completely coated with the powdered sugar (1 cup) and cinnamon mixture.

5Cooling and Serving Spread the Baklava Puppy Chow onto a baking sheet and allow it to cool completely.

6Storage Once cooled, transfer the Baklava Puppy Chow to an airtight container. It can be stored at room temperature for up to 1 week.
