Creamy Beef and Sausage Pasta

1.Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and the pasta. Cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain and set aside.

2.While the pasta is cooking, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and sausage, breaking the meat apart with a spoon. Season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper. Cook until the meat is browned and no longer pink. Once cooked, remove from the skillet and set aside.

3.In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low and add the butter. Once the butter has melted, whisk in the sour cream and milk. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the mixture is well combined.

4.Return the meat mixture to the skillet. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar and the grated cheese. Stir until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper, if needed.

5.Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated with the creamy sauce.

6.Serve the pasta hot, garnished with additional grated cheese and chopped fresh parsley.
