Collector's Trinket Cupcakes

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter (½ cup) and sugar (1 cup) together until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs (2) one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract (1 teaspoon).

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder (1 teaspoon), baking soda (½ teaspoon), and salt (Pinch).

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk (½ cup), and mix until just combined.

Scoop the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.

Gently press a collector's trinket into the center of each cupcake, making sure it's fully submerged in the batter.

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cupcakes to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Serve and enjoy these whimsical collector's trinket cupcakes!
