Spicy Sausage Burrata Basil Cherry Tomato Pasta

1.In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the spicy sausage and cook, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, until browned and cooked through.

2.Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook until they start to soften, about 5 minutes.

3.Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta cooking water, then drain the pasta.

4.Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sausage and tomatoes. Toss to combine, adding pasta cooking water as needed to create a sauce.

5.Season with salt and pepper to taste.

6.Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and scatter it over the pasta.

7.Sprinkle the chopped fresh basil over the pasta.

8.Serve hot, garnished with additional basil leaves if desired.
