Italian Gravy (Marinara Sauce)

1Heat a large pot over medium heat.

2Add onions and garlic and cook until onions become translucent, about 6 – 8 minutes; DO NOT let garlic burn

3Season with salt and pepper then add the basil, oregano and add the tomato products.

4Stir in the parsley and reduce the heat, Simmer for 30 minutes on low

5Remove from stove and let cool at room temperature for 5 – 10 minutes

6Puree in blender and return mixture to the pot Return
