Moist and Fluffy Vanilla Cake

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.

2.In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

3.Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

4.In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and baking soda.

5.Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.

6.Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans.

7.Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

8.Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

9.Once cooled, frost the cake with your favorite frosting or enjoy it plain. Slice and serve!
