Spicy Paneer Tikka Masala

1Cut the paneer into cubes and set aside.

2In a bowl, mix yogurt (1 cup), ginger garlic paste (1 tablespoon), garam masala (1 tablespoon), turmeric powder (1 teaspoon), cumin powder (1 teaspoon), coriander powder (1 teaspoon), red chili powder (1 teaspoon), lemon juice (2 tablespoons), and salt to taste to create a marinade.

3Add the paneer cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

4Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F). Thread the marinated paneer cubes onto skewers and place them on a baking tray. Bake for 10-15 minutes until slightly charred around the edges. Alternatively, you can grill them.

5In a pan, heat oil and add the finely chopped onions (2 large). Sauté until golden brown.

6Add the pureed tomatoes (3 large) and cook until the oil separates from the mixture, indicating the tomatoes (3 large) are cooked well.

7Stir in cream (½ cup), kasuri methi (1 tablespoon), and salt to taste. Let it simmer for a few minutes.

8Add the baked paneer cubes to the gravy, mixing gently to coat the paneer with the sauce.

9Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or steamed rice.
