St. Joseph's Day Jello

1.In a large bowl, dissolve the lime gelatin in boiling water.

2.Stir in cold water.

3.Refrigerate for 1 hour or until slightly thickened.

4.Fold in drained crushed pineapple, shredded coconut, chopped walnuts, and halved maraschino cherries.

5.Pour into a 9x13-inch dish.

6.Refrigerate until set, about 4 hours.

7.In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.

8.Spread the whipped cream over the set jello.

9.Chill until ready to serve.
