Rainbow Pride Cupcakes

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

2.In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

3.Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

4.Stir in the vanilla extract.

5.In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.

6.Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk.

7.Divide the batter into six equal portions.

8.Color each portion of batter with a different food coloring to create the rainbow colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple).

9.Spoon a little of each colored batter into the cupcake liners, layering the colors to create a rainbow effect.

10.Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

11.Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before decorating with whipped cream or frosting in rainbow colors to celebrate diversity and love.
