Creamy Egg Custard

1Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.

2In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs (4) until well combined.

3Add the milk (2 cups), sugar (½ cup), and vanilla extract (½ teaspoon) to the eggs (4) and mix until smooth.

4Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish.

5Sprinkle ground nutmeg on top for garnish.

6Place the baking dish in a larger pan filled with hot water to create a water bath.

7Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes or until the custard is set and a knife inserted comes out clean.

8Remove from the oven and let it cool before serving.

9Serve the creamy egg custard warm or chilled, as desired.
