Spicy Chicken Pasta

1Cook penne pasta (8 oz) according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2Season chicken breasts (2) with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil (1 tbsp) over medium heat and cook the chicken until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

3In the same skillet, add more olive oil (1 tbsp) if needed and sauté the onion (1), garlic (3 cloves), and red bell pepper (1) until softened.

4Add diced tomatoes (1 can), chicken broth (½ cup), heavy cream (½ cup), paprika (1 tsp), chili flakes (½ tsp), and oregano to the skillet. Stir well and let it simmer for a few minutes.

5Slice the cooked chicken breasts (2) and add them back to the skillet. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese (½ cup).

6Add the cooked penne pasta (8 oz) to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined.

7Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
