Soft Roll Recipe

1In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk (1 cup), sugar (¼ cup), and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.

2Add melted butter (¼ cup), egg (1), and salt (½ tsp) to the yeast mixture and mix well.

3Gradually add the flour to the wet ingredients and knead until a soft dough forms.

4Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

5Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

6Punch down the dough and divide it into equal-sized portions. Shape each portion into a roll and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

7Cover the rolls with a damp cloth and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

8Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

9Remove from the oven and brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter (¼ cup) for a shiny finish.

10Serve the soft rolls warm and enjoy!
