Spicy Jalapeno & Garlic Sauce

1Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

2Place the jalapenos (6) and garlic (4 cloves) cloves on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil (½ cup).

3Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the jalapenos (6) are charred and the garlic (4 cloves) is soft.

4Remove the roasted jalapenos (6) and garlic (4 cloves) from the oven and let them cool.

5Once cooled, remove the stems from the jalapenos (6) and peel the garlic (4 cloves) cloves.

6In a blender, combine the roasted jalapenos (6), peeled garlic (4 cloves) cloves, white vinegar (¼ cup), sugar (1 teaspoon), cumin (½ teaspoon), and paprika (½ teaspoon).

7Blend until smooth, adding more olive oil (½ cup) if needed to reach your desired consistency.

8Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.

9Transfer the sauce to a jar or container and refrigerate until ready to use.
