Creamy Dalphonaise Potatoes

1Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream (1 cup), garlic (2 cloves), onion (½), nutmeg (¼ tsp), paprika (¼ tsp), and black pepper (¼ tsp). Heat over medium heat until it simmers.

3Add the sliced potatoes (2 lbs) to the saucepan and stir to coat them evenly with the cream mixture.

4Transfer the potato mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.

5Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

6Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes (2 lbs) are tender and the top is golden brown.

7Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
