Better Chicken

1Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

2In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour in one, beat the eggs (2) in another, and mix the breadcrumbs (1 cup), Parmesan cheese, garlic powder (1 teaspoon), paprika (1 teaspoon), oregano, basil, salt (½ teaspoon), and pepper in the third bowl.

3Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, then dip it into the beaten eggs (2), and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the coating to the chicken.

4Heat olive oil (¼ cup) in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

5Add the coated chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

6Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

7Serve the Better Chicken hot with your favorite side dishes or salads.
