Bacon and Cheese Stuffed Burgers

1In a large bowl, combine the ground beef (1 pound), crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese (1 cup), garlic powder (1 teaspoon), onion powder (1 teaspoon), smoked paprika (1 teaspoon), salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

2Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.

3Make a small indentation in the center of 4 patties and fill each with a spoonful of additional cheese if desired. Top with the remaining patties and seal the edges to form stuffed burgers.

4Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burgers for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

5Toast the hamburger buns (4) on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

6Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked patties on the buns and adding lettuce, tomato, and pickles as desired.
