Vanilla Dream Cake with Creamy Frosting

1Begin by preparing the cake sponge (2 cups). If using a store-bought sponge, ensure it is at room temperature. If making from scratch, bake the sponge according to your favorite recipe and let it cool completely.

2In a mixing bowl, combine the milk (1 cup) and condensed milk (1 cup). Stir well until fully blended. This will be used to soak the cake sponge (2 cups) for added moisture and flavor.

3Take the cooled cake sponge (2 cups) and slice it into two equal layers horizontally. Place the bottom layer on a serving plate.

4Using a pastry brush, generously soak the bottom layer of the sponge with the milk (1 cup) and condensed milk (1 cup) mixture, allowing it to absorb the liquid.

5Spread a layer of vanilla ice cream (2 cups) over the soaked sponge layer, smoothing it out evenly with a spatula.

6Carefully place the second layer of sponge on top of the ice cream layer. Repeat the soaking process with the milk (1 cup) and condensed milk (1 cup) mixture on this layer as well.

7In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream (1 cup) until soft peaks form. This will be your frosting. You can add a little sugar if you prefer it sweeter, but it's optional.

8Spread the whipped cream over the top and sides of the cake, creating a smooth and even layer. Use a spatula or a cake knife for a polished finish.

9For decoration, you can add some extra scoops of vanilla ice cream (2 cups) on top or sprinkle with chocolate shavings or fresh fruits if desired.

10Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld and the cake to set.
