Oreo Milk Bread Delight

1Crush the Oreo biscuits (8) into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-lock bag and rolling over them with a rolling pin.

2In a bowl, combine the crushed Oreo crumbs, sugar (2 tablespoons), and vanilla extract (1 teaspoon). Mix well until combined.

3In a separate bowl, pour the milk (1 cup) and heat it in the microwave for about 30 seconds until warm, but not boiling.

4Add the warm milk (1 cup) to the Oreo mixture and stir until you have a smooth paste.

5Take the slices of bread (4) and spread a thin layer of butter (1 tablespoon) on one side of each slice.

6On the unbuttered side of two slices, spread a generous amount of the Oreo mixture evenly.

7Top with the other two slices of bread (4), buttered side up, to create two sandwiches.

8In a skillet over medium heat, place the sandwiches and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

9Remove from the skillet and let cool for a minute before slicing in half.

10Serve warm, optionally with a glass of milk (1 cup) for dipping.
