Decadent Chocolate Chip Cream Delight

1.In a medium saucepan, heat the fresh cream (1 cup) over low heat until it begins to steam, but do not let it boil.

2.Remove the saucepan from heat and add the chocolate chips (1 cup) to the warm cream. Stir gently until the chocolate chips (1 cup) are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.

3.Add the sugar (2 tablespoons) and vanilla extract (1 teaspoon) to the chocolate mixture, stirring until fully combined and the sugar (2 tablespoons) is dissolved.

4.Let the mixture cool for about 10 minutes at room temperature, then transfer it to the refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes until it thickens slightly.

5.Once chilled, use a hand mixer or whisk to whip the chocolate cream mixture until it becomes light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

6.Spoon the whipped chocolate cream into serving dishes or glasses.

7.If desired, dust the top with cocoa powder for an elegant finish before serving.
