Savory Peach and Apple Cheeseburger Delight

1.Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.

2.While the grill is heating, shape the ground beef into four equal patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

3.Season both sides of the patties with salt and pepper to taste.

4.Place the patties on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip them over.

5.After flipping, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.

6.While the burgers are cooking, prepare the toppings: wash and shred the lettuce, dice the tomatoes, and slice the pickles, peach, and apple.

7.If using sourdough bread, toast the slices on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

8.Once the burgers are done, remove them from the heat and let them rest for a minute.

9.To assemble the burgers, spread a layer of jelly on the bottom half of each bun (or toasted sourdough slice).

10.Place the cooked cheeseburger patty on top of the jelly, followed by a generous amount of shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced pickles, peach slices, and apple slices.

11.Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
