Savory Egg and Onion Fritters

1.In a large mixing bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them until well beaten.

2.Add the finely chopped onion, tomato ketchup, ginger garlic paste, baking powder, cumin powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

3.Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the mixture, stirring until a thick batter forms. Ensure there are no lumps and the batter is smooth.

4.Heat sunflower oil in a frying pan over medium heat. You need enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan.

5.Once the oil is hot, drop spoonfuls of the batter into the pan, flattening them slightly to form fritters. Do not overcrowd the pan; fry in batches if necessary.

6.Cook the fritters for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and crispy. Flip carefully using a spatula.

7.Once cooked, remove the fritters from the pan and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.

8.Serve the fritters hot with extra tomato ketchup on the side for dipping.
