Chocolate Oreo Lava Cake with a Gooey Center

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease four ramekins with butter or non-stick spray.

2.In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

3.In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar, mixing until smooth and creamy.

4.Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract and milk until fully incorporated.

5.Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

6.Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies and chocolate chips gently into the batter.

7.Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling each about 3/4 full.

8.Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still soft and gooey.

9.Remove from the oven and let them cool for 1-2 minutes before carefully inverting each ramekin onto a plate.

10.Serve warm, optionally topped with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
