Creamy Tuna Pasta Bake with Cheesy Crust

1Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

2Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

3In a large skillet, heat the olive oil (2 tablespoons) over medium heat. Add the chopped onion (1 medium) and minced garlic (2 cloves), sautéing until the onion (1 medium) is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

4Add the drained tuna, frozen peas (1 cup), and sweet corn (1 cup) to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.

5In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, tuna mixture, heavy cream (2 cups), half of the cheddar cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, oregano, basil, paprika (½ teaspoon), salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

6Transfer the pasta mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

7Top the pasta with the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese, followed by the breadcrumbs (½ cup) for a crunchy topping.

8Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

9Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
