Rainbow Wontons with Cheese and Honey

1.In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, honey, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.

2.Add the chopped chives, red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, green bell pepper, and purple cabbage to the cheese mixture. Stir until the vegetables are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

3.Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the cheese and vegetable mixture into the center of the wrapper.

4.Brush the edges of the wonton wrapper with the beaten egg.

5.Fold the wrapper in half diagonally to form a triangle, pressing the edges to seal. Make sure there are no air bubbles inside.

6.Repeat the filling and folding process with the remaining wonton wrappers and filling.

7.Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a large, deep skillet or pot over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

8.Carefully add a few wontons to the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Fry the wontons for 2-3 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

9.Use a slotted spoon to remove the wontons from the oil and transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

10.Repeat the frying process with the remaining wontons.

11.Serve the rainbow wontons warm, drizzled with additional honey if desired.
