Fruity Laffy Taffy Pralines

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the fruit-flavored gelatin and powdered sugar, mixing well to ensure there are no lumps.

2.Add the corn syrup, unsweetened applesauce, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Stir until the mixture is well combined and forms a thick, sticky dough.

3.If desired, fold in the chopped nuts, mini chocolate chips, or shredded coconut to add extra texture and flavor to your pralines.

4.Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper to prevent sticking. Transfer the mixture into the dish and press it down evenly with your hands or a spatula to form a flat layer.

5.Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until the mixture is firm enough to cut into pieces.

6.Once chilled, remove the mixture from the dish and cut it into small squares or rectangles, resembling pralines.

7.Store the fruity Laffy Taffy pralines in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
