Spicy Chicken Masala Skewers with Zesty Salsa

1.In a large bowl, combine garlic paste, ginger paste, yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well to create a marinade.

2.Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.

3.Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

4.Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.

5.Brush the grill with vegetable oil to prevent sticking. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.

6.While the chicken is grilling, prepare the salsa. In a separate bowl, combine the chopped onion, diced tomatoes, green chili, cilantro, lime juice, and a pinch of salt. Mix well and set aside to let the flavors meld.
