Buttery Paneer and Cheddar Stuffed Breads

1.In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for 5-7 minutes until frothy.

2.In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and melted butter.

3.Mix the ingredients until a dough forms. Transfer to a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

4.Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

5.While the dough rises, prepare the filling by mixing crumbled paneer, shredded cheddar, softened butter, black pepper, garlic powder, and chopped cilantro in a bowl until well combined.

6.After the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 8 equal portions.

7.Roll each portion into a ball, then flatten it into a small disc about 4 inches in diameter.

8.Place 2-3 tablespoons of the paneer and cheddar mixture in the center of each disc.

9.Carefully fold the edges over the filling and pinch to seal, forming a stuffed ball. Place the stuffed breads seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

10.Cover the stuffed breads with a cloth and let them rest for 15 minutes to rise slightly.

11.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

12.Brush the tops of the breads with melted butter for a golden finish.

13.Bake the breads for 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown and sound hollow when tapped.

14.Remove from the oven and brush again with melted butter while warm.

15.Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm for the best flavor and texture.
