Classic Fluffy Milk Bread Pudding

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.

2.Cut the bread into roughly 1-inch cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.

3.In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.

4.Warm the milk gently in a saucepan over low heat until just warm to the touch (do not boil).

5.Slowly pour the warm milk into the egg mixture, whisking continuously to prevent the eggs from scrambling.

6.Pour the milk and egg mixture over the cubed bread. Gently fold the mixture with a spatula to ensure all bread cubes are soaked evenly. Let it sit for 15 minutes to allow the bread to absorb the custard fully.
