Hearty Baked Chicken and Tomato Sandwiches

1.Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).

2.In a medium bowl, combine the cooked and shredded chicken, milk, mayonnaise, 1/4 cup shredded cheese, chopped black olives, and cottage cheese. Mix well until everything is evenly incorporated.

3.Season the chicken mixture with salt and freshly ground black pepper to your taste. Stir again to distribute the seasoning.

4.Lightly butter one side of each slice of bread. Place four slices of bread, butter-side down, on a baking sheet or in a baking dish.

5.Divide the chicken mixture evenly among the four bread slices, spreading it to the edges.

6.Arrange the thin tomato slices over the chicken mixture on each sandwich base.

7.Top the tomato slices with an additional sprinkle of shredded cheese.

8.Place the remaining four slices of bread on top of the cheese, butter-side up.

9.Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and toasted, and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

10.Let the sandwiches rest for a few minutes before serving.
