Mezcalita de Mango y Chipotle

1.Prepare the mango puree: Peel and pit a ripe mango. Blend the flesh until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve if you prefer a smoother consistency.

2.Prepare the rim: On a small plate, combine the Tajín Clásico seasoning and optional chipotle powder. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your serving glass (a rocks glass or margarita glass works well). Dip the rim into the seasoning mixture to coat evenly.

3.In a cocktail shaker, combine the mezcal, fresh mango puree, fresh lime juice, agave nectar, and chili slices (or chipotle powder).

4.Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well-chilled.

5.Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice.

6.Garnish with a mango slice, a lime wheel, and a thin chili slice.

7.Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing, smoky, and sweet flavors.
