Easy Macaroni and Cheese

1.Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2.In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute, until bubbly.

3.Gradually whisk in the milk and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a simmer.

4.Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the shredded cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper.

5.Add the cooked macaroni to the saucepan and stir until well coated with the cheese sauce.

6.Serve hot and enjoy!
