Preparation Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

Making the Cake Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pans for 10 minutes. Transfer the cakes to a wire rack to cool completely.

Preparing the Cream Filling In a chilled mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

7.Spread a generous layer of cream filling on top of one cake layer. Place the second cake layer on top and press gently to adhere.

Making the Chocolate Ganache In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped chocolate until smooth and well combined.

9.Pour the chocolate ganache over the assembled cake, allowing it to drip down the sides.

Decoration To create the decoration, divide the white fondant into smaller portions and tint them with green, yellow, red, and blue food coloring to represent different sections of the statues.

11.Shape the fondant pieces into miniature statues and apply gold edible paint for a touch of glamour.

12.Place the fondant statues on top of the cake and around the base for an artistic presentation.
