Pita Hot Dog

1.Preheat the grill or stovetop grill pan over medium heat.

2.In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream and ketchup to make the sauce.

3.Grill the sausages until cooked through, about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally.

4.While the sausages are grilling, warm the pita bread in the oven or microwave.

5.Once the sausages are done, remove them from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.

6.Cut each sausage in half lengthwise.

7.Spread a generous amount of the sauce on one side of each pita bread.

8.Place 2 slices of cheese on top of the sauce on each pita bread.

9.Add a half of a sausage to each pita bread.

10.Top with sliced tomatoes and shredded lettuce.

11.Fold the pita bread in half and enjoy!
