Cheesy Chicken Tomato Bake

Preheat Oven Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Marinate Chicken In a bowl, combine olive oil, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Place the chicken breasts in the marinade and coat well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Prepare Tomato Sauce In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, and cook until onions are translucent. Stir in diced tomatoes, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the sauce thickens.

Assemble the Dish Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade and place them in a baking dish. Pour the tomato sauce over the chicken.

Add Cheese Layer Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the tomato sauce.

Bake Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and golden brown.
