Beef and Onion

Step 1 Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Step 2 Add the sliced onions and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onions are soft and translucent.

Step 3 Add the sliced beef to the skillet. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through.

Step 4 In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper. Pour the sauce over the beef and onions in the skillet. Stir to coat the beef and onions evenly with the sauce.

Step 5 Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly. Remove from heat.

Step 6 Serve the beef and onion stir-fry hot with steamed rice or noodles.
