Potato Herb Cheese Bake

Preparation Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Peel the potatoes and slice them into thin rounds. Rinse the sliced potatoes under cold water to remove excess starch.

Layering the Dish Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray. Place a layer of sliced potatoes on the bottom of the dish, slightly overlapping each other. Sprinkle half of the minced garlic and herbs on top of the potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper.

Adding the Cream and Cheese Pour the heavy cream evenly over the potato layers. Top with the shredded cheese, covering the entire dish.

Baking Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is golden and bubbly.

Serve Allow the potato herb cheese bake to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with extra fresh herbs, if desired. Enjoy!
