Donkey Testicles

Marinade preparation In a bowl, combine buttermilk, hot sauce, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.

Marinating the testicles Add the donkey testicles to the marinade and let them soak for at least 1 hour, or overnight for a more intense flavor.

Coating preparation In a separate bowl, mix together all-purpose flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to create the coating mixture.

Coating the testicles Remove the donkey testicles from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off. Coat the testicles evenly with the flour mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

Frying the testicles In a deep fryer or large pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully place the coated testicles into the hot oil and fry them until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.

Draining the testicles Remove the fried testicles from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain off any excess oil.

Dipping sauce preparation In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, hot sauce, Dijon mustard, and honey to create the dipping sauce.

Serving Serve the fried donkey testicles hot with the dipping sauce on the side.
