Miso Glazed Rice Bowl

Cooking the Rice Rinse the rice thoroughly and cook it according to the package instructions. Once cooked, fluff it with a fork and set aside.

Making the Miso Glaze In a small bowl, whisk together the miso paste and soy sauce until well combined. Set aside.

Preparing the Eggs In a pot of boiling water, carefully add the eggs and cook for 7 minutes for soft-boiled eggs or 10 minutes for hard-boiled eggs. Remove the eggs and place them in cold water to stop the cooking process. Peel and set aside.

Assembling the Rice Bowl Divide the cooked rice into serving bowls. Drizzle the miso glaze over the rice. Slice the boiled eggs in half and place them on top of the rice. Garnish with your choice of toppings, such as scallions, sesame seeds, or nori strips.
