Crispy Rice Crispies Treats

Preparing the Ingredients Line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.

Melt the Butter In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.

Mixing the Ingredients Once the butter is melted, add the sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool for 5 minutes.

Adding Egg and Rice Crispness After the butter mixture has cooled, add the egg and mix well. Then, gently fold in the rice crispness until fully coated with the butter mixture.

Forming the Treats Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan and press it evenly. Lightly press the marshmallows on top of the mixture.

Chilling Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until the treats are set.

Cutting and Serving Once set, remove from the pan and cut into squares. Serve and enjoy!
