Marinara Chicken Spaghetti

1.Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2.Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

3.In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed. Saute the garlic and onion until softened and fragrant.

4.Add the red pepper flakes, dried oregano, dried basil, and dried thyme. Stir well to combine with the garlic and onion.

5.Pour in the marinara sauce and sugar. Bring to a simmer.

6.Slice the cooked chicken breasts into strips and add them back to the skillet. Stir to coat the chicken in the marinara sauce.

7.Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine with the sauce and chicken.

8.Sprinkle Parmesan cheese, fresh basil, and fresh parsley over the spaghetti. Toss again to mix everything together well.

9.Serve the Marinara Chicken Spaghetti hot, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs if desired.
