Classic French Toast Delight

1.In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined and slightly frothy.

2.Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter, allowing it to melt and coat the surface.

3.Dip each slice of brioche bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are thoroughly soaked but not overly soggy. Let any excess mixture drip off before placing the bread in the skillet.

4.Place 2-3 slices of soaked brioche in the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd. Cook for 3-4 minutes on one side, or until golden brown and slightly crisp.

5.Flip the bread slices and add another tablespoon of butter to the skillet. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes on the other side until golden brown.

6.Remove the cooked French toast from the skillet and keep warm in a low oven (about 200°F or 90°C) while you repeat the process with the remaining slices.

7.Serve the French toast warm, drizzled with maple syrup, and dusted with powdered sugar. Garnish with fresh berries if desired.
