Oven-Baked Turkey Crisps with Simple Glaze

1.Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

2.In a small bowl, whisk together the Marmite, BBQ sauce, Dijon mustard, and 1 teaspoon of water until a smooth glaze forms. Set aside.

3.In a separate bowl (you can use the mixing bowl directly on the counter/mat to avoid dirtying too many items), toss the turkey slices with the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and kosher salt until evenly coated.

4.Arrange the seasoned turkey slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Ensure they do not significantly overlap.

5.Bake for 10 to 14 minutes. The exact time depends on your oven, but look for the edges to start curling and the turkey to look dry and slightly crispy.

6.Carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven. Using tongs or a fork, quickly brush both sides of the warm turkey slices lightly with the prepared savory glaze.

7.Return the glazed turkey slices to the oven and bake for an additional 2 to 3 minutes, just until the glaze sets and caramelizes slightly. Watch very closely to prevent burning.

8.Remove immediately from the oven and slide the parchment paper (with the turkey) onto a cooling rack or platter. Let cool for a minute before serving gently with tongs to serve warm as crispy, savory bites.
